Primarily, Millrock targets early-stage exploration of copper-gold porphyries and pluton-related gold deposits, with efforts focused strictly on the Alaska and Arizona, both mineral-rich frontiers with vast exploration potential and also stable, mining-friendly jurisdictions.

Millrock seeks to create value for its shareholders by making discoveries of giant ore bodies that it will sell to major mining corporations. As grassroots, early-stage explorers, Millrock is working in the highest-risk subsector of the exploration business. The Company has adopted a business model that minimizes this financial risk and maximizes the chance of discovering an ore body.

In adopting the business model we call "Project Generator", Millrock best leverages its exploration expertise by generating and operating exploration projects, while partnering with companies better positioned and able to raise the vast sums of capital required to discover and develop world-class mineral deposits. In financial terms, this leverage transforms each dollar spent by Millrock into five dollars of exploration activity.

Millrock itself is required to raise relatively small amounts of venture capital through equity financing, thus minimizing shareholder dilution. This capital is used to fund research, reconnaissance exploration, acquisition of mineral rights and marketing. Once the geological potential has been demonstrated and mineral rights are secured, Millrock finds business partners that will invest in the project through earn-in joint venture agreements. These companies provide the high-risk project financing for drilling to earn a majority interest in Millrock's projects. Millrock is currently operating eleven exploration projects. By having multiple projects, the success of the company is not tied to a single project, thereby reducing exploration risk and dramatically increasing the chances of ore body discovery.
